About Everlight Angel Stories
A quiet corner of the internet for extraordinary moments
Nearly everyone knows someone with a story like the ones on this site — a moment of impossible protection, a presence in a hospital room, a hand that wasn't there. Most of those stories are told once or twice, carefully, to people who are trusted not to laugh. Then they're kept.
Everlight exists because we think those stories deserve a home. Not to prove anything, and not to argue anyone into belief — but because these moments are among the most meaningful of people's lives, and sharing them helps others feel less alone with their own.
About the narrator
Rosemary Gambino-LemkeFounder · Greater Chicago · Central Wisconsin
Rosemary spent nearly three decades in work that amounts to listening to people for a living — as an HR generalist and talent acquisition partner at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, as director of development at a counseling center serving people in crisis, and as a senior recruiter. Her professional headline for years was simply “People are my passion.”
She is also a writer, director, and actress, with a degree in speech and theater and membership in Actors' Equity and the Screen Actors Guild. Everlight sits exactly where those two lives meet: a career spent earning people's trust with their real stories, and a lifetime spent caring how a story is told.
When you send a story here, Rosemary is who reads it. Not a queue, not a moderation system — a person, who will write back.
What we believe about your stories
We take no position on what these experiences ultimately are. Visitors of every faith — and of none — are welcome here. What we ask of stories is only that they be told honestly, as the person experienced and remembers them. What we ask of readers is simple respect: these accounts are personal and often precious to the people who share them.
How stories are reviewed
- Every submission is read by a person — not a system, and not an algorithm deciding what matters.
- Before anything goes live, we email you the version we'd publish. You approve it, change it, or withdraw it with one reply.
- We may lightly edit for length, spelling, and clarity; we never change what happened.
- You choose how you appear: first name and state, fully anonymous, or held privately until you say otherwise.
- We remove a published story any time its author asks. No questions, no delay.
Independent, and small
Everlight is not affiliated with any church, organization, or publication. It began the way most of these stories begin: with one experience that wouldn't let go, and the discovery that once you tell yours, everyone else seems to have one too.
